Tolling Voter's Guide
OREGON CANDIDATE TOLLING KNOWLEDGE & POSITIONS
The Oregon Tolling Voters Guide is designed to inform, educate, and empower Oregon voters on their candidate and elected officials’ knowledge and thoughts on tolling. We are committed to providing a clear and impartial resource that we hope voters will use to make educated decisions when they mark their ballots this November and beyond.
After the election this information will be used to influence policy in the ’25 Legislative Session – remember, it was the elected Legislators who authorized tolling in 2017, and expanded it in 2020. We are reporting in the guide which candidates voted for HB-2107 to start the tolling project, and which ones didn’t.
Every state-wide and Oregon Legislative candidate, eventually including those in office who are not up for election in this cycle, are being asked some very simple questions about tolls. We will report their answers here.
For those choosing not to reply we will reported a missing response, encourage them to reply, and where possible, we will use external and 3rd party resources to try to establish what their actions show about there knowledge of tolling and its impact on Oregon taxpayers.
